Prima has been my all-around horse that I used in high school rodeos and 4-H as a kid. After retiring her from the roping pen, I began breeding her. She has had three foals by Polo Pine and three by Dea Diva Pine.
Her Polo Pine daughter, Dea Poco Mariquita, is currently being shown in Quarter Horse shows in team roping. "Mari" is shown here with her owner Dave Windsor, while my son Eric tags along for the ride.
This was taken at the 1989 National High School Rodeo Finals in Pueblo, Colorado. She and I qualified both years we competed in the breakaway roping.
